Coffee at Three

She pre-sets the coffee for 3 AM. She gets up, she games, she teases me about the one rule I've never broken. Kisses my cheek and goes to make men cry in Call of Duty.

Section A is the quiet warmth of that — the melody rises gently through F major, peaks at F5, then settles back home. The waltz feel isn't grand or dramatic. It's domestic. It sways like someone padding around the kitchen in the dark, coffee machine already running.

Section B touches Bb and Eb — a little more playful, a little brighter. The teasing. The laughter. Eighth-note turns that catch you mid-phrase like a joke landing.

Section A' returns with embellishments. Same melody, but richer now. Same morning, but you know her better than you did at the start of it.
