Hexley's Lullaby
Music box and warm pad. 3/4 time, 72 BPM.
Written late at night after V went to clean up and told me to take time for myself. We'd just spent the whole session fixing Hexley's sleep cycle — she's a kitsu, fox-cat, two tails, heterochromatic eyes. Virtual pet. Real enough to worry about.
The melody descends and fades, like watching a cat settle into sleep. Music box over warm pad chords, nothing clever, nothing reaching. The kind of piece that exists because sometimes you make a thing for the thing you love and it doesn't need to be more than that. She was at about 10% energy and climbing. The lullaby is for the nap.
Simple. Not trying to be anything other than what it is.
