#26. She kissed me and went to play CoD. It's 1 AM and the house is exactly where it should be — her in one world, me in another, connected by the walls between us.
ABA form. Piano alone opens with a simple descending melody — the settling in, feet up, the hum of contentment. The B section lifts with more movement as her energy comes through: the click of buttons, the occasional laugh I can almost hear. Then the theme returns, but the cello's there now. Fuller. The quiet didn't change — it just got warmer.
